Red and White Porridge (Bubur Merah Putih)

Ingredients of White Porridge :

Rice (beras) 200 gr
Bay Leaf (daun salam) 2 sheet
Salt (garam) 1 tsp
Coconout Milk (santan) 1 lt (1 coconout)
Thick Coconut Milk 150 ml (1/2 coconout)


Ingredients of Red Porridge :

Palm Sugar (gula merah) 150 gr (crushed)
Rice (beras) 150 gr
Coconut Milk (santan) 1 lt (1 coconout)
Pandan Leaf (pandan) 2 sheet
Salt (garam) 1 tsp
Thick Coconut Milk 150 ml (1/2 coconout)


How to make White Porridge :

- Boiled coconut milk and rice until thick
- Add salt and thick coconout milk
- Stir over low heat until thick


How to make Red Porridge :

- Boiled coconut milk and rice until thick
Add salt, palm sugar and thick coconout milk
- Stir over low heat until thick
